ABOUT THE ARTIST
Patrick Scott is a man with a fairly large nose. He is married to a woman with a perfect sized nose. Her name is Irene. Irene and Patrick live in Sonoma County which is in Northern California, USA. The region is mostly known for its fine wines.

Patrick is a compulsive creator. He loves a project but he tends towards innovation over repetition. The sculptures are all one of a kind.

In recent years, Patrick has been grappling with a sense of conflict between humanity and Nature. Human endeavors tend to run rampant over the delicately balanced systems of our planet. He senses a human world out of balance, Hellbent on self-destruction, with Nature being the ultimate victor.

Through his sculptures, he hopes to encourage reflection upon our lives and our relationship to the planet. The formal elements of the work are meant as abstract representations of our relationship with Nature. Sometimes in harmony. Sometimes with overpowering disregard. Sometimes with reverence.
